A. A Life Coach isn’t a counsellor. A Life Coach will help you understand why you are the way you are and they will help you realise what you can do to be the person you really want to be. Both the coaching and counselling professions are about helping people to move forward in their lives.
Q What is the difference between holistic life coaching and counselling?
A. The key difference between counselling and holistic life coaching, is that holistic life coaching heals past emotional pain, by looking at it, recognising limiting beliefs and repetitive patterns and it effect on the present and developing new ones, in order to achieve your optimum emotional, mental, physical and spiritual life balance in the present and future.
Q. Will a Life Coach give me the answers?
A. A Life Coach won’t give you the answers, but they will help you to find your own solutions to what challenges you. You as the client chooses the focus of each coaching session, while your coach listens, contributes insights, asks pertinent questions therefore providing options for the client to consider. The focus of coaching is aimed at helping you to expand your thinking, discover your own solutions and overcome challenges you are currently facing.
